Editing comments
As a registered commenter
Registered Disqus users can edit comments in two places:
-
At the dashboard: hover over a comment > click the pencil icon.

-
By visiting the comment itself and clicking the Edit link under the comment.

As a third-party service commenter (Facebook, Twitter, Google+)
Users logged-in to Disqus via a third-party service profile can edit comments by visiting the comment itself and clicking the Edit link under the comment, as seen above.
As a guest commenter
Guest commenters should directly contact the moderator of the website to which their comment was originally posted, as Disqus does not moderate content.
Removing comments
As a site moderator
See Moderating your community.
As a registered commenter
Registered commenters can anonymize comments in two ways — comments can never be deleted:
-
At the dashboard: hover over a comment > click the [x] icon.

-
In any Disqus discussion: hover over a comment > click the actions dropdown > click Delete.

As a third-party service or guest commenter
Third-party service (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Google+) and guest commenters should directly contact the moderator of the website to which their comment was originally posted, as Disqus does not moderate content.
Disqus doesn't moderate
While Disqus provides many moderation tools, we do not moderate any of the content. Please contact the moderator of the website if you'd like to have your comment removed permanently.
