General Troubleshooting
We'd recommend the following troubleshooting steps for users experiencing issues while trying to comment.
Disable all plugins, extensions (Chrome), and add-ons (Firefox), in your browser, as well as any privacy-related software
Clear your browser's cache and cookies, as instructed here
Enable third-party cookies, following this documentation
Firefox: If you have selected the "Strict" Privacy setting in your preferences, please ensure that the "Fix Major Site Issues" checkbox is selected at the bottom of that option. If that checkbox is not available, you may need to select the "Standard" Privacy option for Disqus to function correctly
Safari: In the Privacy settings, "Website Tracking - Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" must be unchecked for Disqus to function correctly
If you have issues staying logged in with Disqus on Safari, navigate to your Privacy settings, click the "Advanced Settings" button in the bottom left corner, and ensure that the "Block all cookies" option is unchecked. Cookies must be allowed for Disqus to keep you logged in between sessions
