Ads.txt Implementation Guide
The following is a step-by-step guide for implementing our latest ads.txt file:
If you already have an ads.txt file implemented for your site, you can simply copy the most up-to-date Disqus ads.txt file from your ad settings page page and paste it into your existing ads.txt file.
If you do not yet have an ads.txt file implemented:
Copy the Disqus ads.txt file from your ad settings page and paste it into a new document.
Save your document as a .txt file and name it ads.txt.
Upload the ads.txt file to the root directory of your domain's server. The root directory of a site is the directory or folder following the top-level domain (example.com/ads.txt). The file can be accessible via HTTP or HTTPS but must be located under a standard relative path: "ads.txt". The HTTP request header must contain "Content-Type: text/plain"
To ensure you’re maximizing your ad revenue, continue to update your file on a monthly basis.
